Asahi Treks & Expeditions is an agency established in 2004 by a young energetic team of individuals, who have many years of experience in the trekking and tourism sector. They decided to provide further quality services to their clients by using their seasoned skills and knowledge of the region. The company is a Nepal Government licence holder and is affiliated to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The Sherpa guides, porters, cooks, etc. are seasoned veterans with years of "on the job" experience; they are locals who are passionate about what they do and how they do it. The office staff who coordinate the field staff share an instinctive working relationship with them and this ensures quality services for you the client. Furthermore, our staff have been trained by various governmental and non-governmental tourism agencies and have been lauded for their polite and professional services to our clients. Although we have fixed and scheduled dates and itineraries for our treks and expeditions, we can also make tailormade arrangements depending on your needs and convenience.

Our treks come in different packages; meaning treks are tailored from fairly casual family packages to the highly seasoned trekker who desires a more challenging experience with extensive coverage of the region. Similarly, river rafting packages are also graded from 1 – 5 and varies from gliding down river in fairly serene waters to the more adrenaline rush rapids for the thrill seekers.
